Help us name the Youth Voice in Language!

Calling young mob:

We’re setting up a Youth Voice for young mob to engage in Treaty – and we want you to help us pick a name in Language!

Our young mob are our future leaders. The Youth Voice will educate, engage and empower young First Peoples to participate in the Treaty process and develop their Treaty aspirations and leadership skills.

We’re calling on young Victorian mob aged 12-28 to help us pick a name for the Youth Voice in an Aboriginal language of Victoria. Submit your proposed name, along with its translation, and you’ll go in the draw to win a deadly prize pack, including:

  • 2 tickets to ‘First & Forever’ music festival
  • Haus of Dizzy $100 voucher
  • Indigenous AFL guernsey of your choice
  • An epic merch pack

Submit your entry by 5pm, Friday 4 November to be in the draw.

  • Leadership

About the draw

Submit your details and your proposed name for the Youth Voice via our website. All entries will go into the draw to win a prize pack. Entries close at 5pm, Friday 4 November. A winner will be chosen at random. The winner will be contacted by 5pm, Tuesday 8 November. Young mob aged 12-28, who are either a Traditional Owner of Country in Victoria living interstate or an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person living in Victoria are eligible to participate. After considering each entry, the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria may select a name from the entries to become the actual name of the Youth Voice. If a name is chosen from the entries submitted by the public, that individual will be contacted for an acknowledgement. For more information and Terms and Conditions, click here.
