Notice of Election | Do you want to represent the North-East region in the Treaty process?

On the journey towards Treaty, First Peoples need to be in the driver’s seat at every turn.

The First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria is the democratic body representing Traditional Owners of Country in Victoria and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who have lived here for at least three of the last five years.

We’re holding a by-election from 26 February to 27 March to fill a general seat – recently vacated by Nartarsha Bamblett – to represent the North-East region.

Find out more about the North East By-election, including how to nominate as a candidate, via the button below.
