The First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria is seeking a graphic designer who is a Traditional Owner in Victoria to create a series of graphics that help explain possible paths ahead for our shared journey to Treaty.
The purpose of the graphics will be to support Assembly Members to work with our community to build awareness and understanding of what the process for Treaty-making should look like. The graphics will need to convey the various phases of the journey and outline existing and potential models of the various components – such as the Assembly, its Elders’ Voice, a Treaty Authority, a Self Determination Fund, a State-wide Treaty, local Traditional Owner Treaties and so on.
Although the diagrams are to be informative, we’d also love for them to reflect and celebrate the culture and art of Traditional Owners in Victoria.
So if you are a graphic designer who is a Traditional Owner in Victoria and you’re interested in learning more about this project, please email your details and some examples of your previous work and we’ll be in touch with a more detailed brief that you can base a quote on.
