(Self Determination Fund Limited in its corporate capacity and capacity as trustee for the Self-Determination Fund)
The Trustee Board of the Self-Determination Fund has published its first annual report, which covers its first year in establishing and overseeing the operation of the Self-Determination Fund.
The Self Determination Fund is a new resource set up by the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria to help Traditional Owners get ‘Treaty-ready’ and to help generate prosperity for future generations.
It will enable Traditional Owners to enter Treaty negotiations with the Government on a more level playing field. It will also empower our communities to build wealth and greater capacity now and into the future.
The Fund is expected to be open for applications by the end of 2023.
