From time to time the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria (the Assembly) runs promotional giveaways and competitions.
Voting Photo Treaty Day Out double backstage pass – June 2023
At 10am Thursday 18 May we launched a ‘Voting Photo Treaty Day Out double backstage pass’ competition that will run until 4pm [AEST] on Monday 29 May 2023.
A winning photo will be picked in which 1 person will be offered a double backstage pass to Treaty Day Out Naarm. Entry into this competition is by uploading a voting photo onto Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook and tagging the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria social media accounts. Acceptance of the prize is deemed to be acceptance of the conditions of entry, details below. You can read our privacy policy here.

- General conditions
- Entry is free and open to anyone enrolled with the Assembly.
- Treaty Election candidates and employees of the Promoter are inelibigle to enter.
- Casting a vote in the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria Elections during the competition period and uploading a photo to social media tagging @firstpeoplesvic and using the hashtag #TreatyElections is deemed entry into the competition.
- Entries must be received digitally during the Competition Period, in accordance with the Entry Method. Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are received by the Promoter’s social media channels and not at the time of submission by the entrant. The Promoter has no control over communications networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. Entrants are responsible for their own costs associated with accessing the Internet.
- This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each valid entry will be individually judged (by representatives of the Promoter) based on, among other things, creative merit.
- The most creative valid entry, received during the Competition Period, as determined by the judges, will win the prize.
- Each photo upload must tag the social media account for Frist Peoples’ Assembly and include the hashtag #TreatyElections on the social media post.
- Entry to the competition will open from 10am on Thursday 18 May and will conclude at 4pm (AEST) Monday 29 May 2023.
- Lottery draw
- The prize is a double backstage pass. One prize per winner. One winner in total.
- The winner will be chosen at random
- The winning picture will be picked after 4pm on Monday 29 May 2023.
- Winning entry
- The winner will be notified via phone or email, within two (2) days of the competition period.
- The winner’s name will be listed here until 30 June 2023.
- Collection of prize
- The Assembly will email confirmation of the prize to the winner – so long as we have or are supplied their current email.
- The name of the winner and a friend will also be listed at the Treaty Day Out box office.
- If the Assembly is unable to contact a winner and deliver the prize after reasonable efforts, a new winner will be selected at random or the prize will become void.

A “lottery” will be drawn in which 1 person will be selected at random and offered a Treaty Day Out merchandise pack valued at $200. Qantas Vouchers giveaway – June 2023
At 7am Saturday 13 May we launched a ‘Qantas Vouchers’ giveaway that will run until 11pm [AEST] on Saturday 3 June 2023.
Three “lotteries” will be drawn during the giveaway period in which three people (one person per draw) will be selected at random from the voting roll and offered a $500 Qantas voucher.

Dreamtime guernsey giveaway – May 2023
At 12am (AEST) on Wednesday 10 May we launched a ‘Dreamtime guernsey’ (giveaway) that will run until 11:59 [AEST] on Thursday 11 May 2023.
A “lottery” will be drawn after Monday 15 May 2023 in which 2 people who have updated their enrolment information will be selected at random and offered a limited-edition Dreamtime guernsey. The first drawn winner will be made the first offer and given first choice of guernsey. The second drawn winner will be offered the remaining guernsey.
Entry into this lottery is by updating your enrolment information with the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria to include a current phone number and email address, during the giveaway period. You also must agree to be in the giveaway and accept the terms and conditions of this competition (details below).

The 12 Wins of Xmas – merch giveaway December 2022
At 10am on Wednesday 14 December 2022 we launched a “12 wins of xmas” promotional give-away that will run until 12:01am (AEST) on 26 December 2022.
A “lottery” will be end after the 26 of December in which 12 people who have commented on one of the relevant social media posts answering the stated question, will be selected at random, and offered one item of their choosing from our current range of merchandise.
Entry into this lottery by answering the question in the comments on the social media post is deemed to be acceptance of the conditions of entry details below and you can read our privacy policy here for information about why and how we keep records of some of your personal details – for example, we’ll need to ask you for a postal address so we can deliver the prize.
