The Trustee Board of the Self Determination Fund has published the strategic plan that outlines the goals of the fund over the next four years.
The Self Determination Fund is a new resource set up by the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria to help Traditional Owners get ‘Treaty-ready’ and to help generate prosperity for future generations.
It will enable Traditional Owners to enter Treaty negotiations with the Government on a more level playing field. It will also empower our communities to build wealth and greater capacity now and into the future.
With the establishment phase of the strategic plan set for completion in July, the fund is expected to be open for applications by the end of 2023.
