The Treaty Authority Agreement establishes the Treaty Authority. The Treaty Authority is made up of five First Peoples leaders and the Members perform their role in a way that respects, observes and upholds Aboriginal Lore, Law and Cultural Authority. This is recognised in the Treaty Authority agreement between the Assembly and the Victorian Government.
The Treaty Authority Agreement has been amended to reflect what has been agreed in Statewide Treaty negotiations.
