Young mob from the North West Region gathered on Dja Dja Wurrung Country in Bendigo for their first Treaty Youth Forum. They created this statement on Treaty to share with other young First Nations people.

We are the feathers of Bunjil.
We are the whispers of the Ancestors.
We are the First Nation.
Our vision for Treaty is self-determination, no shame for learning our culture and living with our Land as our Ancestors did.
Truth-telling sets the foundation for our future.
As young people we will survive to pass on knowledge and inspire the future generation.
Treaty Youth Forums are part of our Youth Voice initiative, which brings young mob together to learn about our history, practice culture and share their hopes about what Treaty will deliver.
